![]() This course will provide K-12 teachers and administrators a wide range of theoretical, pedagogical and reflective activities that will enable them to:understand their own beliefs and knowledge about language learning/language assessment and language teaching and become aware of the impact of such knowledge and beliefs on their own classroom practices, communicating with and involving of language minority parents; recognize the interpretive processes involved in language teaching and assessing and be able to reflect on and critically analyze and evaluate their own teaching practices; become sensitive to the highly complex social, political and cross-cultural factors that affect both the students and the parents of these students as they learn the second language; recognize students’ strengths and weaknesses and develop curriculum accordingly; understand how to adapt instruction for culturally diverse exceptional students; and use their knowledge of theory to inform their instructional practices. | Skip CoursesSkip CalendarCalendar
